About the CenTex BBQ Roundup

The CenTex BBQ Roundup (CTBR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 to bring Central Texas communities together through charity, collaboration, and celebration. CTBR was created with one simple purpose: to give more back to humanity than we take.

Our annual free BBQ, music, and car show festival unites families, businesses, schools, and local organizations in a day of food, fun, and community spirit. The event showcases 100 pitmasters, 20 restaurants, 15 breweries, 300 show cars, and a full lineup of musicians and family entertainment. Every part of the experience, including food, beverages, entry, kids’ activities, fishing, petting zoo, and more, is completely free to the public.

Through sponsorships and community partnerships, CTBR raises funds to support local education, youth programs, animal welfare services, and emergency responders. Proceeds are donated to trusted organizations such as the Belton Education Foundation, Bell County 4-H, Bell County FFA Booster Club, Temple/Belton Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and Healing Heart Rehab.

CTBR also serves as a model for community innovation. Our digital management system coordinates volunteers, utilities, sponsors, and vendors, making large-scale collaboration efficient and cost-effective. This technology ensures that more of every dollar raised goes back to the causes that matter most.

What started as a regional BBQ competition has grown into a movement that celebrates Texas tradition, automotive culture, generosity, and unity while continuing to give back year after year.
