Our Mission and Community Impact

The Central Texas BBQ Roundup exists to strengthen and connect Central Texas communities through service, collaboration, and celebration. We are committed to creating an inclusive community event that removes financial barriers so everyone, regardless of income or circumstance, can participate with pride and dignity.

By bringing together championship barbecue, our Healing Heart Rehab Animal Adoption Event, Pistons & Pitbosses Car Show, free Family Zone, Local Vendors Marketplace, food trucks, live entertainment, and military displays, we create more than a festival. We create a place where neighbors connect, partnerships grow, and a shared celebration becomes meaningful support for our community.

Through the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, CTBR raises funds for animal welfare, military families through AUSA, education, youth programs, and emergency services. We are also committed to using technology responsibly to promote efficiency, accountability, and transparency in nonprofit event management.

Our mission is to inspire service and generosity by proving what is possible when a community comes together for something greater than itself. CTBR exists to lift others, celebrate the Texas spirit, honor those who serve, and give back more than we take.
