As President and Chief Executive Officer of the CenTex BBQ Roundup (CTBR), George Bunker is bringing BBQ, community, and philanthropy together like never before. Through this non-profit social welfare organization, George is on a mission to support animal services, law enforcement, and community safety, one smoked brisket at a time. Whether uniting pitmasters or rallying sponsors, George ensures that every bite serves a purpose.

When he’s not igniting the BBQ scene, George leads as Vice President of HSEQ at Integrated Water Services (IWS), where he oversees the strategic implementation of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality programs. With over 30 years of global experience in the energy and water sectors, George combines operational excellence with innovative online automation to drive efficiency and performance, ensuring safety and quality always exceed expectations.

Beyond BBQ and boardrooms, George co-founded the Texas BBQ Bash, spearheaded Empower Freedom’s fight against human trafficking in the energy industry, and contributed to the founding of Energy Strong, a platform empowering energy professionals. Whether revolutionizing safety systems or serving up unforgettable BBQ experiences, George Bunker’s passion and precision are the secret sauce behind his success.
