IBCA Appointed Head Judge

Alicia Kendrick serves as the IBCA appointed Head Judge for the Central Texas BBQ Roundup, overseeing all judging in full accordance with the official IBCA rules and double blind standards. Her role ensures that every entry is judged fairly, consistently, and without influence, using only the official IBCA scoring criteria and turn-in requirements. 

Alicia supervises the certified IBCA judging team, manages the secure handling of all turn-in trays, and confirms that every sample is evaluated on appearance, taste, and texture under the strict double blind process that has long defined the IBCA. She works closely with CTBR leadership to ensure that competitors receive accurate guidance, proper turn-in procedures, and full confidence in the integrity of the competition. 

Her experience, professionalism, and commitment to upholding all IBCA standards make Alicia an essential part of ensuring that the CTBR is judged with accuracy, transparency, and complete fairness.
